Respondents

WHEREAS the Petitioner above named through their Advocate Sri V Sudhakar Reddy presented this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an order, direction or writ, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents more particularly respondent Nos. 2 to 4 herein in not returning/releasing the seized stock of 169.71 Qtls of rice to the 1^st petitioner and returning an amount of Rs.50,000/- paid through challan No.53815, dt.28.02.2014 to the 2nd petitioner in pursuance of the Judgment rendered in Criminal Appeal No.36/2014 the Principal Sessions Judge, Nellore as illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondents to return the seized stocks or its value and the amount of Rs.50,000/- to the petitioners respectively with interest @ 24percent per annum.

AND WHEREAS the High Court upon perusing the petition and affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri V Sudhakar Reddy, Advocate for the Petitioners directed issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this WRIT PETITION should not be admitted.
