This application is filed by petitioner-appellant
(sole accused), who was convicted in S.C.No.95 of 2017 on
the file of the learned X Additional Sessions Judge, West
Godavari at Narasapur, vide judgment dated 25.02.2022,
seeking to release him on interim bail for a period of one
week i.e., from 18.08.2022 to 24.08.2022 pending disposal
of Criminal Appeal.
The deponent of the accompanying affidavit filed in
support of the application is the father of the petitioner. It
is the case of the deponent that the petitioner-appellant is
his son. Deponent is having two sons and one daughter.
His elder son died.<br>His second son i.e., the petitioner
appellant is languishing in jail since 25.02.2022. Marriage
of his daughter, who is the sister of the petitioner
appellant, is fixed to be held on 20.08.2022. His daughter
is very much attached to the petitioner-appellant and
wishes to have the presence of her brother at the time of
her marriage. The presence of the petitioner is required to
at the time of the marriage of his sister.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on written
instructions, states that the accused and deceased belong
to same caste and residents of Illindraparru Village,
Penumantra Mandal; the marriage of the sister of the
accused is also fixed to be solemnized in their village; the
family members and relatives of the deceased are feeling

very sad and retaliation temperament for the brutal murder and causing disappearance of the dead body also; under such circumstances there is every possibility of harm to the accused in the hands of family members and relatives of the deceased and there is every possibility of breach of law and order. Having considered the submissions of both the learned counsel and on perusal of the record, in view of the apprehension expressed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor with regard to the law and order problem in the village, we intend to grant escort bail to the petitioner for a period of two days. Accordingly, this application is ordered granting escort bail to the petitioner for a period of two (2) days i.e., on 19.08.2022 and 20.08.2022. Hence, the Superintendent, Central Jail, Rajahmundry, is directed to provide escort, at the cost of the petitioner, for a period of two (2) days i.e., on 19.08.2022 and 20.08.2022 to enable the petitioner to attend his sister's marriage, and thereafter, he shall be taken back to the Central Prison, Rajahmundry, in the evening time on 20.08.2022, with the same escort. _________ MGR, J _________ TMR, J Vjl
