Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to call for the records, satisfy it self that no grounds exist to prosecute the petitioner (A2), and quash all further proceedings in C.C.No.38 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District in the interest of justice.

Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District, pending disposal of the above Criminal Petition.

This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri M S P KAMARAJU, Advocate for the Petitioner and the Public Prosecutor (AP) on behalf of the Respondent.

ORDER:

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

$2.$ The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. $on$ instructions, states that the trial of C.C.No.38 of 2011 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Rajampet, Y.S.R. Kadapa District, has already been commenced and the evidence of PW-1 was already examined in Chief and the matter is posted to 20.02.2024 for cross examination of PW-1.

3. In view of the above said statement, as the trial of the C.C. was already commenced, the present Criminal Petition is closed granting liberty to the petitioner to participate in the trial of the case.

Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
