This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.712 of 2020 on the file of the Duvvada Police Station, Visakhapatnam City.

Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of instructions of the Inspector of Police, Duvvada Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, dated 18.12.2024, wherein it is stated that pending the present petition, the Police, after due investigation have filed a charge sheet vide C.C.No.68 of 2203 on the file of the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, at Gajuwaka and the case is pending for trial. 2.

In view of the fact that a charge sheet vide C.C.No.68 of 2203 has already been filed, pending the present petition, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition. 3.

4. Permission as sought for is accorded. Accordingly, this criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with a liberty to challenge the aforementioned charge sheet, if at all the petitioner is aggrieved by the same.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
