The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the Petitioner/Accused No.1, seeking quashment of the proceedings in C.C.No.33 of 2021 on the file of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Railway Kodur, Kadapa punishable under Sections 498(A) IPO, r/w 34 IPO & Section 3 & 4 of D.P Act.

  1. Ms Y.Maha Lakshmi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of, since the matter was ended in acquittal in the trial Court.

  2. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State/Respondent No.1 is in attendance.

  3. In that view, the Criminal Petition is dismissed since the relief has become infructuous.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
