WRIT PETITION No.5352 of 2018
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not reinstating him as Assistant Professor or Dental Assistant Surgeon on par with similarly situated persons, and consequent rejection of his case vide order, dated 16.10.2017 passed in Rc.No.36905/D-4/2017 passed by the office of the Director of Medical Education, Telangana, Hyderabad without referring the representations of the petitioner to the Government of Telangana, as illegal.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner was working as Assistant Professor and he resigned from the post on 28-01-2008 and subsequently, he made several representations to re-appoint him as Assistant Professor, but his representations were rejected by virtue of the orders of the Director of Medical Education, Telangana, Hyderabad in R.C.No. 36905/D-4/2017, dated 16.10.2017.

The counsel for petitioner submits that by virtue of the G.O.Ms.No.175 Health, Medical & Family Welfare (B.2) Department, dated 03.08.2010, one Dr.R.Narender, MD (Paed)
as Civil Assistant Surgeon was considered for re-appointment. There are several other cases also on the same footing.

Hence, in view of the above, this court deems it fit to direct the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the case of the petitioner also, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.175 Health, Medical & Family Welfare (B.2) Department, dated 03.08.2010 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six(6) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the writ petition shall stand closed.
