ORDER:

The petitioners seek Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not acting upon the applications submitted by the petitioners for deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory properties list under Section 22-A(1)(a) of the Registration Act, 1908 as illegal, arbitrary and for consequential order.

2. Heard Sri Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and Stamps & Registration representing respondents.

3. The petitioners have submitted online application vide application Nos.TTA012200082083 and TTA012200082080 dated 03.02.2022 for deletion of the subject property to an extent of Ac.1.20 cents in Survey No. 30/2 and Ac.0.32 cents in Survey No.30 of Basinikonda Revenue Village, Madanapalle Mandal, Chittoor District from the list of prohibited properties and so far no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent. He seeks a direction in this regard.

4. Having regard to the nature of the prayer, this writ petition is allowed and the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application Nos.TTA012200082083 and TTA012200082080 dated 03.02.2022 submitted by the petitioners and after conducting due enquiry by

affording personal hearing to the petitioners, pass an appropriate order in accordance with governing law and rules but not later than six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.

As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
