CRIMINAL PETITION No.264 of 2016
ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., by the petitioners/Accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.897 of 2011 on the file of the Court of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada for the offence under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
$2.$ None appeared on behalf of the petitioners.
$3.$ At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, would submit that C.C.No.897 of 2011 was disposed of on 30.11.2016 as withdrawn, and filed a copy of the E-Courts case status.
In that view of the matter, nothing survives in keeping the $\mathbf{4}$ petition pending for adjudication. Therefore, recording the submission of the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
