The Court made the following Order:
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has passed away and the prayer for reinstatement would become infructuous. However, the learned counsel submits that the legal heir of the petitioner is on record and would be entitled for service benefits of the petitioner. However, the same are not extended by the respondents/university. The learned counsel would pray for liberty to make a representation with the respondents/university to seek the disbursal of service benefits due payable to the petitioner. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents/university. The respondents/university shall dispose of the said representation if so received within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the said representation.
- Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
