WHEREAS the Petitioner above named through his Advocate Sri N Bharat Babu presented this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, declaring the proceedings RC.No.A3/614/2019 dated 24.01.2023 issued by the 3rd respondent, whereunder the Petitioner was directed to retire on 28.02.2023 on completion of 60 years of age, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Rules framed in G.O.Ms.No.888 Rev (Endts-I) Department dated 08.12.2000 and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of Constitution of India, and Consequently direct the Respondents to continue the Petitioner in service upto the age of 62 years with all consequential benefits, in the interest of justice.

AND WHEREAS the High Court upon perusing the petition and affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri N Bharat Babu, Advocate for the Petitioner and of GP for Services-II for Respondent Nos.1 & 2 and Sri G. Ramana Rao, Standing Counsel for Respondent No.3, directed issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this WRIT PETITION should not be admitted.
