ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, by declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not disposing of the appeal dated 24.07.2019 filed by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and violation of principles of natural justice and unconstitutional and direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 24.07.2019 filed by the petitioner"

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.07.2019 was posted for submission of written arguments, whereas learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the written arguments were already submitted and requested to issue a direction to dispose of the appeal.

It is for the appellate authority to decide the appeal in accordance with law, but the parties are not expected to get instant orders within a short span of time when the authorities are flooded with lot of work. Therefore, respondent No.4 is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.07.2019, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
