Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to call for the records relating to Cr.No.147 of 2017, on the file of Devarapalli Police Station, West Godavari District and quash the same.

This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri S Subba Reddy, Advocate for the Petitioner and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1.

ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioner/A.1 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.147 of 2017 on the file of Devarapalli Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offence under sections 448, 323 and 506 read with 34 IPC.

$2.$ Sri K.Satyanand, learned counsel submitted that Sri S.Subba Reddy, learned counsel who appeared for the petitioners, was elevated as a Judge.

3. At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the matter was settled between the parties in the Lok Adalat on 28.04.2018 and filed a copy of the letter submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Devarapalli Police Station, to that effect.

4. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in keeping the petition pending for adjudication. Therefore, recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

5. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
