Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in W.P., the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents 1 to 4 consider the representation dated 26.12.2020 made by the petitioner, pending disposal of WP No. 1863 of 2021, on the file of the High Court.

The court while directing issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this application should not be complied with, made the following order. (The receipt of this order will be deemed to be the receipt of notice in the case).

ORDER:

Normally, this Court is not inclined for disposal of representations. However, the representation in this case, involves certain decisions, which have to be taken with regard to the status of the particular area and whether it should be demoted from Nagar Panchayat or Gram Panchayat. This is a matter, which is within the realm of the respondents only.

The learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration states that they will look into the matter and pass an order strictly in accordance with merits.

In that view the matter, there shall be a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation strictly in accordance with law.
