HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. RAGHUNANDAN RAO

WRIT PETITION No.1758 of 2021

ORDER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in deactivating the 1st petitioner's DIN Nos.03320204 and DIN No.03372309 of the 2nd petitioner and restricting the petitioners from filing statutory returns, i.e., the annual returns and financial statements of the Companies in which they are Directors as illegal and arbitrary.

  1. Heard counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel for Central Government -1st respondent.

  2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in similar facts and circumstances, this Court by order dated 28.05.2020 passed in Writ Petition No.8230 of 2020, restored the DIN of the petitioners-Director therein.

  3. Hence, in terms of the said order, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to restore the 1st petitioner's DIN Nos.03320204 and DIN No.03372309 of the 2nd petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

  4. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
