THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI

WRIT PETITION NO.1522 OF 2024

ORDER:

The short grievance of the petitioners is that, the respondent No.3 is intending to change the revenue entries by entering the names of the respondent Nos.4 and 5 in the place of the names of the petitioners in respect of the land to an extent of Ac.0-87 cents in Survey No.39, Ac.1-33 cents in Survey No.72 and Ac.1-83 cents in Survey No.102/1 of Budawada Village, Jaggaiahpet Mandal, NTR District.

  1. Heard Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri K.Dilip Naik, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

  2. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, Sri K.Dilip Naik, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on written instructions dated 22.01.2024, submitted that the 4th respondent's application for mutation has not been considered and the same was rejected by the revenue authorities. As such, there is nothing for adjudication.

  3. To the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, by recording the written instructions, the Writ Petition may be closed.

  4. Perused the material available on record.

  5. A perusal of the written instructions vide Rc.A.25/2024 dated 22.01.2024 goes to show that the application made by the 4th respondent for mutation has been rejected by the authority concerned.

  6. Taking the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader and the written instructions dated 22.01.2024 into consideration, as the authority has rejected the 4th respondent application for mutation, there is nothing for adjudication and this Court is inclined to close the writ petition.

  7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
