WRIT PETITION No.1384 of 2020

ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice A.V.Sesha Sai)

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Labour, apart from perusing the entire material available on record.

Pending O.A.No.622 of 2019, the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as 'Tribunal'), passed interim order, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the case of the applicant-petitioner herein for appointment to the post of Technical Assistant on compassionate grounds, keeping in view the family circumstances and the letter, dated 13.06.2018, of the Commissioner, Department of Employment and Training, addressed to the Special Chief Secretary to Government and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the said order.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that, despite lapse of considerable length of time, the said orders have not been implemented by the respondents herein. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, as against the said orders, no Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

If that being so, this Court does not find any justification on the part of the respondents in not implementing the said orders.

For the aforesaid reasons, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to implement the orders of the Tribunal, dated 24.04.2019, passed in O.A.No.622 of 2019 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
