About

Angad Kamath is a practising advocate based in Bengaluru. He read law at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, graduating with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree in 2020, and was awarded the gold medal in Company Law. He thereafter completed his Master’s degree in Law from Jindal Global Law School, with academic focus on Artificial Intelligence, Intellectual Property and Technology Law. Before commencing independent practice, he served as a Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant at the High Court of Karnataka and thereafter at the Supreme Court of India. His work involved legal research, preparation of case briefs, analysis of pleadings and precedents, and research assistance across diverse areas of civil, criminal, constitutional, commercial and public law. This experience informs his litigation practice, particularly in research-led drafting, appellate strategy, precedent analysis and court-facing preparation. He commenced independent practice in Bengaluru in December 2024 and appears as counsel before the High Court of Karnataka, civil and criminal courts, commercial courts, tribunals and arbitral fora. His practice includes civil, commercial and criminal litigation, writ remedies, arbitration, company and shareholder disputes, property litigation, tax and GST matters, cyber crime and technology-related disputes, intellectual property disputes and tender challenges. He is empanelled with the High Court Legal Services Committee to render pro bono assistance to litigants in need. His reported appearances reflect a growing and diverse body of work across civil and criminal litigation
